The Valletta International Baroque Festival was first set up in 2013. This year it will take place between the 11th - 26th January 2019, an event surely not to be missed.

Using a number of baroque and historical locations throughout its two week musical extravaganza, the festival celebrates the aristocratic grandeur of Malta’s capital city.

As with past years, this year the festival will venture out of Valletta to other baroque venues including: Mdina, the old captial, Birgu (Vittoriosa) and Senglea (L-Isla) which lie across the Grand Harbour from Valletta. All venues chosen boast the grandeur of Malta's baroque history.
